cvs compile note

just a random note i came across while compiling a cvs checkout on November 20th, 2006. i had a nice time getting php-gtk2 cvs to compile, where first the generator.php failed from a ram allocation error, so i upped it and re-ran the configure script and had problems with gtk_ce being undefined. as it turned out i had to make clean clean-caches clean-gen and then edit the generator/generator.php memory allowance even more to allow it to finish the generation and succeed in the compile. however, i had to keep doing this until i had set it to allow 256M in generator.php as with anything less it kept exhausting itself and quitting. once set to 256M (default 64M) everything worked like it should. - bob.
