Hi Tom,
You need to set your codepage to stop that happening, e.g.
php-gtk.codepage = CP1250 ;works on Windows only
(in your php.ini)

Subject: [PHP-GTK-DEV] non-UTF-8 characters in GtkEntry
Hi, If a user types "à" (Picture: www.woxnet.org/files/special_char.gif) into a GtkTextBuffer or GtkEntry, my php-gtk app crashes after the following warning: Warning: GtkEntry::get_text(): could not convert return value from UTF-8 It is just the same with the dialogmessage demo. Is there a way to disable non-UTF-8 input? -- PHP-GTK Development Mailing List (http://gtk.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
