Please, can we make a change for the build system o linux? What I want is, when you require a extension and you do not have the files needed(includes and libraries) the configure script stop.
Example:
./configure --with-extra
If I do not have what is necessary to build the GtkExtra the configure must stop with an error, because now it continues and I only know that I do not have the gtkextra when I run a script that uses it, which is very bad!
If i try to build with extra and get a message that tell it is not available(and the configure stop at this point), i can choose to install the required package or remove it from the configure line and try again. And for the extensions that are enabled by default, a warning at the end of configure, in the same case.
