I'm running PHP 4.3.8, and I'm having the following problem when I run ./buildconf:
[root@orome php-gtk-1.0.1]# ./buildconf
configure.in:9: warning: underquoted definition of PHP_WITH_PHP_CONFIG
run info '(automake)Extending aclocal' or see
http://sources.redhat.com/automake/automake.html#Extending%20aclocal
configure.in:32: warning: underquoted definition of PHP_EXT_BUILDDIR
configure.in:33: warning: underquoted definition of PHP_EXT_DIR
configure.in:34: warning: underquoted definition of PHP_EXT_SRCDIR
configure.in:35: warning: underquoted definition of PHP_ALWAYS_SHARED
aclocal: cannot open php_gtk.m4: No such file or directory
make: *** [buildmk.stamp] Error 1
So, I ran autoconf, instead. Got this:
[root@orome php-gtk-1.0.1]# autoconf
configure.in:65: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_PROG_LIBTOOL
If this token and others are legitimate, please use
m4_pattern_allow. See the Autoconf documentation.
But, now there's a configure file, so I run ./configure:
[root@orome php-gtk-1.0.1]# ./configure
configure: error: cannot run /bin/sh ./config.sub
Then, I scrapped everything and decided to start over. This time, I renamed php_gtk_new.m4 to php_gtk.m4. When I ran ./buildconf this time, I received a ton of "warning: underquoted definition" messages, but it produced a configure file just fine at the end:
Configuring for:
PHP Api Version: 20020918
Zend Module Api No: 20020429
Zend Extension Api No: 20021010
rebuilding configure
Then I did:
./configure
make
make install
All worked just fine. But now I've got to figure out why make exited with errors when I did the configure line I used with 1.0.0:
./configure --with-gnome-config=/usr/bin --enable-gtkhtml --enable-gdkpixbuf --enable-scintilla
Nonetheless, I have a vanilla installation that works fine. I even tested a PHP-GTK application with it... works great.
