Ok. So here is what I have for December news:
Ben mentioned an article about PHP-Gtk usage in companies. It looks like it didn't make it though.
Madeline asked to point out the php-gtk-general thread about PHP-Gtk use in companies.
Nate pointed out that Roadsend can now compile PHP-Gtk apps to run without an installed version of PHP-Gtk on a user's computer.
I got an email today saying that the International PHP Confernce has put out a call for papers and one of the topics they are looking for is PHP-Gtk.
We also have a new Russian version of the docs. (The docs page needs to be updated though.)
Combining all of this glorious news I have come up with the following news item. Please feel free to make comments, suggestions, point out other items or completely rewrite it. Links need to be added but I figured the first version can leave them out for readability's sake.
PHP-Gtk in business
There has been a lot of discusson lately about the role PHP-Gtk can and is playing in the business world. Several people have commented on the php-gtk-general mailing list about how they have developed secure, cross-platform applications for use in business with PHP-Gtk. Using tools such as Roadsend's PHP Compiler, developers are able to create and distribute PHP-Gtk applications that don't require the user to have a working installation first.
On the international level, PHP-Gtk documentation is now available in Russian thanks to the work of Andrew Krasnyansky. Also, the organizers of the International PHP Conference have put out a call for papers. One of the requested topics is PHP-Gtk.
