Gtk+ does not throw any exceptions by default. PHP-GTK decides to throw certain exceptions in certain cases - like PhpGtkConstructException if construction fails. Each one has to be done on a case by case basis, except for the functions that return errors using GError type - those are generated automatically and will always throw PhpGtkGErrorException.

From my understanding, C doesn't have exceptions. So where do they come from? The docs won't really be complete unless we can say something like, "GtkBin::add() throws a GtkContainerFull exception if it already has a child when you try to add another widget." I don't know how to tell what exceptions a given method might throw. The only method I have found so far is to purposely do something I know is wrong.
