I started implementing main loop related functions, when I realized that the old gtk_timeout_add() and gtk_idle_add() functions have been deprecated actually. The new ones are provided by GLib library itself, but we do not have .defs files for GLib, of course. So, the question is where these functions should be located: in Gtk:: namespace or in a new one, possibly Glib::, G::, or PHPG::. So far I have decided to dump everything into Gtk:: namespace, mostly for BC reasons, but I wanted to know if anyone has other suggestions. PyGtk has these functions under GObject:: namespace, but I think that's just arbitrary decision, since GObject itself has nothing to do with main loops.
