Hi all,
I've got some fairly reproducible bugs, but I'm not sure where the root
cause may lie :-(
The code I'm using can be seen at http://www.gornall.net/choose_db.txt ,
because it's about 200 lines...
The widgets work great, until you pull down the GtkCombo, at which point all
the labels will disappear. I've tried to put in
/******************************************************************\
|* Callback : Handle a selection
\******************************************************************/
function select_cb($list, $listitem)
{
$this->setSelectedIndex($list->child_position($listitem));
// This because it seems to lose the GtkLabels otherwise!
$this->window->hide();
$this->window->show();
while (gtk::events_pending())
gtk::main_iteration();
}
... as a callback, and indeed this works some of the time, but most of the
time, you get a flashing display (you can see the labels draw) then the
image repaints over them....
I was using the image-in-a-GtkFixed as a poor-mans background-pixmap, since
I couldn't see any other way of superimposing one widget on top of another.
Any ideas? Alternatively, any better ways of doing a background pixmap
welcomed also :-))
TIA,
Simon
