Hi all -
I've been working on an application database (similar to
freshmeat, but scaled down) that will shortly be added to the gtk.php.net
website. The reason for this is to create a centralized location where
people can go to find php/gtk applications.
It's almost complete and ready to go, but I need some advice on what
categories you think should be available. We can always modify it later,
but it would be nice to start with a useful set.
Please reply to me via email with the categories you think are relevant
and I'll take it from there. Currently the system has the following:
Communications
Database
Games/Entertainment
Internet
Email
WWW
Multimedia
MP3
Other
Security
Software Development
Utilities
Categories can be nested one level deep, but not more.
I'll make another post (or Andrei will or someone :) once this is up live
on gtk.php.net.
