you have to buffer the operations, then do it again using a libgd.
eg. if the user draws a line on the drawing area,
$objects_on_drawingarea[] = new line();
$objects_on_drawingarea[]->draw();
// later on save
foreach ($objects_on_drawingarea as $k,$v)
$objects_on_drawingarea[$k]->save($gd);
class line {
function draw() {
gdk::draw_line..........function save($gd) {
gd_image_draw_line($gd,$this->x,$this->y......regards alan Steph wrote:
not without gdkimage apparently :-( There's no way to get the pixel values from a gdkpixmap. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Waples" <michaelwaples@dingoblue.net.au> To: <php-gtk-general@lists.php.net> Sent: Thursday, March 28, 2002 7:37 AM Subject: [PHP-GTK] saving gtkdrawingareaNow I don't think it is possible - but I'm drawing diagrams on a GtkDrawingArea and would like to save the output to file somehow. I'd like the php-gtk application to do the saving - any ideas ? -- PHP-GTK General Mailing List (http://gtk.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
