Cheers James,
what I was basically looking for was a 'chromeless' effect without the
border and normal buttons that both GTK_WINDOW_DIALOG and
GTK_WINDOW_TOPLEVEL seem to give me on win32, the POPUP gives me a groovy
looking window, especially with 0 border anf the right background pixmap.
but its nice to know what can and can not be done - saves me hours of
head-scratching :)
Regards,
Simon Wheeler
