frustrating compile problems :-(

Hi, after 4 hours trying to compile php-gtk without any success I hope anybody here could help me. My system is SuSE 7.3 and I installed mod_php4-core-4.0.6-68 mod_php4-4.0.6-68 I also installed the Source-RPM and the source tree is under /usr/src/packages/SOURCES/php-4.0.6 . On gtk side I installed gtk-1.2.10-101 gtk-devel-1.2.10-101 libglade-0.16-195 and some other gtk-dependend packages. My first problem was, to use buildconf. It wasn't possible for buildconf to find a pear.m4, aclocal.m4 and a dynlib.m4. I found this files in the Source-Tree from PHP and copied them to /usr/share/php/build. After this it created a configure but told me to start aclocal to update ?! I started it and it told me that it has updated my configure script. Then i made a ./configure and the next problem is, that the configure don`t finds my libglade. I don`t know why, it's installed under /opt/gnome/libs and I tried to help it with some links to /lib but the only way is to disable glade. Maybe its a problem with missing php header files. Is there a easy way to move the php header files to the right system path (/usr/include) ? Help :-) Holger
