For Windows:
- unzip all the files into the same directory. Ignore the structure in
the zip file. As long as all those files are in the same directory
it will work fine in my experience. (I use c:\phpgtk for PHP-GTK and
c:\php4 for PHP4.)
For *nix:
- just specify a different --prefix path. ./configure --help
