Just remembered - there was a thread a few weeks ago about focus and another widget - the conclusion was i think that there was 2 ways to focus the $widget->grab_focus() and $window->set????focus($widget);
have a look thorough the archives..

Hi, I can't seem to find a way for a scintilla widget to have focus on creation, so you can just start typing in it. Any clues? Thanks MarkL
