Re: look and feel on windows

As far as the research I've done on the matter goes... Themes are supported, however: There are no 'engine files/drivers' on windows - these engine file/drivers provide stuff like Circurlar/round buttons rather than square buttons, and the pixmap background to widgets. Eg. you can change font and/or colour of most widgets.. Workarounds: Since you have access to the GtkLayout Widget, It is Possible/Not that difficult to write your own widgets.. - the PHP Gtk Html Render is 'not a simple' example, but proves that you could Create your own buttons using pixmaps and Gdk::draw_text() This is the best I've managed on windows :) http://docs.akbkhome.com/Frontend/screenshot_windows_20020528.png Regards alan The link below avoids the question about 'theme engines' - unless somebody has miraculusly found them :) Ahmad Baitalmal wrote:

My info is old, so I googled +Win32 +gtk +themes, this looks like it's talking about setting themes on GTK for Win32 http://www.rixsoft.com/gimpwin/gtk-themes.html Could someone post a screenshot of something PHP-GTK done with that please :) On Sat, 2002-06-08 at 12:25, J. That installer tool someone linked to a while back on the mailing list did have a pixmap based theme. --Nate ------------The Rubber Paw-------------- "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh
