Hi, I couldn't find any reference to the following: How can I add new widjets to php-gtk ?You have to write bindings- it's a 3 stage process a) generate the defs file from the .h files (there is a python app that does that in CVS h2def.py) b) work out what needs binding manually - eg. new objects etc. c) write the general object bindings in the .h & .c files for the extension. d) create a Makefile.in and config.m4 (usually by copy and changing existing ones) - although I think theres a skel app to generate the base of them. have a look at the other extensions - scintilla, gtkhtml, glade etc.
For example the gtk-extra widjets can be usefull and would like to add them with php-gtk. Gtk-extra is already installed on my system.I think Marcus did start working on that - although I dont know how far he got.
It would be great,if I could create a gtk-extra.so extension. Maybe others will fing that usefull too. BTW, any news toward gtk+2.2, gnome 2.2 and php ?Andrei has been busy with making php5 work with php-gtk (although php5 is still a bit of a moving target ), I think once that works, gtk2 is next on the todo list.. Regards Alan
Any pointer will be appreciated.
