Do you have two version of php installed? For example one in /usr/bin and on in /usr/local/bin ? Make sure that php-gtk is being built and called against the same version of php. For example I have the debian php4 package installed that places everything in /usr (/usr/bin /usr/include /usr/lib etc...etc..) however I have a second version in /usr/local that I actually use for php-gtk work. When I build php-gtk I make sure that /usr/local/bin is in my path before /usr/bin. Hope that helps. Rich Payne http://talisman.mv.com rdp at talisman dot mv dot com
