R: [PHP-GTK] Glade signals

it seems that there are some problems, for me, to send to mailing list. i would not to flame anyone with my messages. but the documentation about gladeXML class is very old and without some examples. the using of autoconnect is very limitative, for oop programming. so it's better to encapsulate a window into a class, using that methods for callbacks. a gtk question. for all people. if i have a container (for example a gtkgroup, that have only-one-child-widget), and i create into it a gtktable, for example for a form (like as a 2 column list where one row is a couple of a label and a field (a gtkentry)), it expands itself to all space of their parent. how i can prevent to expand it to all the space of the parent ?
