PHP-GTK 2 time line

It's not my intention to seem ungrateful for the
wonderful php-gtk product currently available but I
must ask this question. What is the best guess as to
when php-gtk 2 will be stable? I'm only asking
because I have 4 projects that I want to use php-gtk
to complete. Unfortunately 2 of them would use GtkText
if I do them now. Obviously, I would like to delay
completing the projects involving GtkText if Gtk2 is
close.
Regardless as to when Gtk2 is thought to be ready, I
would like to help with the project. Is there a
"TODO" list I can look at to see if any of my skills
could be useful to this project?
