GTK PHP Images - HELP!!!

I've scoured the archives, spent a few hours searching internet sites, and even tried some sample code and it seems that I still can't find a decent solution to this problems. I want to be able to display PNG, JPEG, GIF, & BMP files in GTK in a resizable widget. How do I do it? If someone can help point in the right direction I'll write a decent article on the topic and post at a few websties so all of us can benefit. Thanks!
