I had this idea of "Visual PHP" after I found the GTK-PHP editor
Tulip.(http://tulip.solis.coop.br/) ... I personally think that you can
integrate a "Glade-like" application pretty easily into it ... the main
issue with waiting for PHP5 is the more extreme ease of use with XML
(SimpleXML) ...
Here is an idea to consider:
<php-app>
~ <window ...>
~ <button ...>
~ /// more gui
~ <php>
~ function callback1() {
~ /// more callbacks
</php-app>
Putting the app + visual into a single XML file (like a .glade file) and
interpretting both @ the same time + split pane the editor for both.
It would be nice to see PHP take an incorporate Tulip so that its a
subproject, I think it has alot of potential.

| What would be really great is to create a RAD environment for PHP-GTK.

| I know glade exists but I don't find it that quiet easy to get
| everything up and ready.
| But we can learn alot of it offcourse.
