Still fighting with gtkhtml doing the congfigure

Hi! Alan gave me the tip to my configure problem with gtkhtml. And that was to have the gtkhtml-devel library. I went and installed that and the did another configure and it still gives me the error as listed below: checking for gawk... (cached) /usr/bin/gtk-config checking for GTK - version >= 1.2.6... yes checking for gtkhtml support... yes checking for gnome-config... /usr/bin/gnome-config checking for gnome-config... Unknown library `gtkhtml' configure: error: gnome-config doesn't seem to have support for gtkhtml Here's what I have when I do a 'rpm -qa | grep gtkhtml' libgtkhtml-3.0_4-3.0.10-1mdk libgtkhtml1.1_3-devel-1.1.10-4mdk gtkhtml3.0-3.0.10-1mdk gtkhtml-3.1-3.1.12-6.norlug gtkhtml-1.1.10-4mdk libgtkhtml1.1_3-1.1.10-4mdk libgtkhtml-3.1_7-3.1.12-6.norlug libgtkhtml2_0-2.4.1-2mdk Could the configure be getting confused with the different libraries I have there? Also .. where can I find the gtkCanvas library? I've search high and low for it and cannot find it. Thanks for the info in advance! Handler
