After creating your popup and displaying it, if you have the original field's entry object with you (let's call it $entry): $entry->set_position(0) will bring the cursor to the 0th position of the GtkEntry. I also think that, if your popup is a dialog, you have to ensure that it's not modal. Hope this helps. Regards,
