Hard to tell. There aren't any changes in the hard-coded keysym values between GTK 1.3.0 and GTK 2.6.9. But GTK 2.6.9 has all sorts of dinky new functionality with keys, and there's one call in particular - gdk_keymap_lookup_key() - that looks as if it could be used for remapping. It's system-specific. But it needs implementing in PHP-GTK 2 yet.
Steph - Yes, it's the GDK_KP_ keys that are the problem. The Divide ('/'), Multiply (*) keys don't react at all in Win; the Add ('+'), Subtract ('-') do. All four work just fine in Linux. I am working up a solution for this now, using the event process, but I was wondering about Gtk2. Is there any chance this issue will carry over into the new stuff? Madeleine D. Steph Fox wrote:
Oh wait, you're talking about these? #define GDK_KP_Multiply 0xFFAA #define GDK_KP_Add 0xFFAB #define GDK_KP_Separator 0xFFAC #define GDK_KP_Subtract 0xFFAD - I can't comment in that case, I don't have a keypad here :(
Just checking this out before I dig deeper. The keypad '/' and '*' don't work in Windows. I've found posts on this list about it, but no solution. Has anybody ever found one? thanks Madeleine D. -- PHP-GTK General Mailing List (http://gtk.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
