have you tried to use exit(123) instead of die?

(resending - apologies if message appears twice) Can anybody explain why this script: <?php die(123); ?> exits with status code 123 but this script: <?php dl('php_gtk.so'); die(123); ?> exits with status code 1, as tested using "echo $?". (This is with php 4.4.2, php_gtk 1.0.2.) I have an application where I would like to signify certain conditions using exit status codes but it does not appear to be possible to do this while using php-gtk. Any suggestions gratefully received - I have started looking at the php_gtk code but I don't know much about the zend extension interface so haven't got very far. -- Alistair Riddell - BOFH IT Manager, George Watson's College, EdinburghTel: +44 131 446 6070 Fax: +44 131 446 6090Microsoft - because god hates us -- PHP-GTK General Mailing List (http://gtk.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
