Ok, thanks for the code.. took me awhile going between yours and mine to find the problem (since mine is all based on your wonderful examples :) Turns out I was setting the columns xalign property (with set_property) in the format column function.. with the new Gtk2, that just fails and crashes. Not sure why I did that, but now I've setup the set_alignment's with the column definitions and it works fine. Additionally, I must have been stupid yesterday because that problem was the whole reason I couldn't see images in the listview.. so those all work fine now too.
