I made the following changes reccommend, added a var_dump and $widget
paramater to fill_entry.
function fill_entry($widget,$dbox){
var_dump($dbox);
$dbox->set_text("Data Chosen");
}
...
$frame3 = &new GtkFrame();
$box1->pack_start($frame3,false);
$fw_data_box = &new GtkEntry();
$frame3->add($fw_data_box);
$fw_data_box->set_text("TEST");
...
clist->connect('select-row','fill_entry',&$fw_data_box);
I am getting int(0)

Line 30 is the set_text() line in function fill_entry
