The content in the sidebar is wrapped in <small></small> tags. We can either a) update the docs to not produce those tags b) update the style sheet to set the size for ".sidebar small" to a reasonable size or c) both.
I vote for altering the stylesheets alone rather than messing with the generated content. a) it's less work and b) it's easier to keep up with the changes.
I vote for c. The stylesheet fix will take care of the appearance until the <small> tags are removed. Of course, if the tags are there for a particular reason, we may have to re-evaluate things.
I'll update the stylesheet.
