James,
I am trying to build and compile under cygwin on a win2k machine.
I just got Cygwin last weekend, and I just cvs'ed php-gtk-doc, php-gtk, and php4.
$ ./configure --with-srcdir=../php-gtk
checking for xsltproc... /usr/bin/xsltproc
checking for php... /usr/bin/php
checking for the stylesheets... found
checking for php-gtk source... ../php-gtk
checking for language... en (default)
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating \
.infig.status: error: cannot find input file: \

Hi Everyone, Ive just finished reworking the manual stylesheets and build system, we now use LibXSLT (http://www.xmlsoft.org) which is avaible for both Windows and Linux having been written in C. The manual xml files are still in CVS I have only removed the stylesheets that are there. To build the manual: Get php-gtk-doc cvs module $ cvs -d:pserver:cvsread@cvs.php.net:/repository login Password: phpfi $ cvs -d:pserver:cvsread@cvs.php.net:/repository co php-gtk-doc Once this is done you need to download and install LibXSLT and php if you have not already, you will need to make sure they are in your path, (if your using cygwin then copy them and the dll's you need (a couple of lib2xml, libxsl and xslproc.exe as well as the php ones) to your bin dir.) Next fetch a copy of the stylesheets from http://www.phpuk.org/~james/gtkss.zip and extract these into the php-gtk-doc directory, it will create a dir called stlyesheets. Then do the following $autoconf $./configure You can no make the individual html pages via $make html or the phpweb files via $make phpweb or one big file via $make bigmanual.html or all in a text file via $make text I will be making these avaible via http://gtk.php.net/ in the next few days, I will also try to make a pdf version avalible at that point to. Andrei, just one note that at the moment we dont have our custom titlepages with everyone with their contributions etc on the front page, Ill restore this tomorrow am but its bed time now.
