I'm running AIX 4.3.3, using the native IBM C compiler with PHP 4.0.2 and
Apache 1.3.12. All is compiled as loadable modules.
I managed to get all this to work on my development machine. Since then
I've copied the apache install to my live machine including the
libphp4.so.0.0.0 etc. I have linked libphp4.so to libphp4.so.0.0.0 in my
apache modules directory (exactly the same as on the development machine).
My live machine has no compilers etc, so I'm trying to load the minimum
runable combination from my development environment.
If I don't load the php module, apache runs fine. When I try to load php
also I get...
"Syntax error on line 218 of <server root>/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load <server root>/src/modules/standard/libphp4.so into server: No
such file or directory"
where <server root> is the server root for my apache install. The link
named libphp4.so is there and readable by the apache user e.g. I can see
the symbols using "nm libphp4.so".
I believe I have identical configurations in all the important areas yet
development works and live doesn't.
I'm guessing that the loadable php module uses some dynamically linked
library which isn't on the live machine. Any advice on whether my guess is
right and how I might go about tracking down the pesky missing file?
Any help very welcome, regards
