php binary not being invoked

I have included the changed httpd.conf file changes and all relevant info below. php.ini file changes: doc_root = c:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache/htdocs extension_dir = c:/php4 (I have tried including these with inverted commas and leaving them blank) httpd.conf file changes: ServerAdmin kevin@unison.ie ServerName localhost <Directory "C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache/htdocs"> DirectoryIndex index.html index.php3 index.php ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache/cgi-bin/" ScriptAlias /php4/ "C:/php4/" AddType application/x-httpd-php4 .php (I have tried combinations of different varients of the above line as suggested in a few online tutorials to no success) Action application/x-httpd-php4 "/php4/php.exe" I have also copied the appropriate dll's to there folders.
