Right, Im really new to this whole PHP thang, and heres what I've done so far. Can someone help me sort out/explain what to do? Ive got the optimised php.ini file in windows, and everything seems allright. I dont really know what to do next. I open php.exe and it runs without problems, but hopw do i actually create a php file? If i type a script into notepad and save it with the .php extension, it doesnt seem to recognise it, and just saves it as a .txt file.
