PHP Warning: Unknown(): Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php4/mysql.so' - /usr/lib/php4/mysql.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0 This message appears when I started apache and now when I try to restart or stop apache. Here's data from my phpinfo() call: PHP Version 4.3.1 Apache Version Apache/1.3.27 MySQL Client API version 3.23.49 PHP, Apache, and MySQL are running; mysql works from command line, and from web-based php scripts. The weird thing is that I downloaded an RPM for MySQL 4, and I'm showing 3.23 as the version installed (according to the above data). The referenced file, '/usr/lib/php4/mysql.so', does not exist. rpm -q confirms that MySQL-server-4.0.11-0.i386.rpm is not installed, however I did install it prior to compiling apache and php. Could the php 4.3.1 install have some (default) built in mysql support which overwrote the MySQL 4.0 version that was already installed? I compiled from php-4.3.1.tar.gz. This was my PHP ./configure line: './configure' '--with-mysql' '--with-informix=/opt/informix' '--enable-track-vars' '--with-apache=/share/source/apache/apache_1.3.27' '--with-config-file-path=/usr/local/apache/conf' Any suggestions?
