$OS = \"FreeBSD 3.4\"; Hello, Im Stumped.. I am trying to compile phpwith some 3rd party modules/libs swf, jpeg, png But PHP does not see the lib/include files. Unless Im just using the source for the mods.. IE: this works; --with-mcrypt=../mcrypt-2.5.4 this does NOT work; --with-swf=/usr/local/swf I also had a problem with MySQL --with-mysql=/usr/local but a several php builds ago I made a hardcode change to a makefile (I Think .. But i forgot duh) in order to get it to build correctly since then I have been copying \'config.cache\' to the new source directory to get new builds to complile correctly. If I don\'t I get the \"Somthing is likly to be messed up here PHP cant detect a simple feature on your OS\" error and the debug log reads: /usr/libexec/elf/ld: cannot open -lmysqlclient: No such file or directory If I had to guess I would say it is an issue with LD, I have tried to flag GNU LD on/off. I had an trouble with MySQL talking to other APPs needed this: ldconfig -m -elf /usr/local/lib/mysql at boot time and a couple links too I think ;( . Sorry If Im am confusing the issue here.. and thanks for reading TIA for any hints or help. I really would like to get some more cool stuff working. Cheers, some more info here http://redhatbox.net/houseofcards/ you can e-mail any ?\'s or advice houseofcards@redhatbox.net
