I have gd installed and enabled.
Trying the typical

header ("Content-type: image/png");
$im = @imagecreate (50, 100)
or die ("Cannot Initialize new GD image stream");
$background_color = imagecolorallocate ($im, 255, 255, 255);
$text_color = imagecolorallocate ($im, 233, 14, 91);
imagestring ($im, 1, 5, 5, "A Simple Text String", $text_color);
imagepng ($im);

I get the following string back: ?PNG IHDR2dþ&ñPLTEÿÿÿé['Ë£
I checked out phpinfo(), realizing, that in Environment image/png isn't
mentioned.
What do I have to change in which config.file. Any ideas?
I am running WAMP, Bigapache.
