Hi! This is the ezmlm program. I'm managing the
php-install@lists.php.net mailing list.
I'm working for my owner, who can be reached
at php-install-owner@lists.php.net.
This is a generic help message. The message I received wasn't sent to
any of my command addresses.
--- Administrative commands for the php-install list ---
I can handle administrative requests automatically. Please
do not send them to the list address! Instead, send
your message to the correct command address:
For help and a description of available commands, send a message to:
<php-install-help@lists.php.net>
To subscribe to the list, send a message to:
<php-install-subscribe@lists.php.net>
To remove your address from the list, just send a message to
the address in the ``List-Unsubscribe'' header of any list
message. If you haven't changed addresses since subscribing,
you can also send a message to:
<php-install-unsubscribe@lists.php.net>
or for the digest to:
<php-install-digest-unsubscribe@lists.php.net>
For addition or removal of addresses, I'll send a confirmation
message to that address. When you receive it, simply reply to it
to complete the transaction.
If you need to get in touch with the human owner of this list,
please send a message to:
<php-install-owner@lists.php.net>
Please include a FORWARDED list message with ALL HEADERS intact
to make it easier to help you.

Hi, I am having a bit of difficulty with my PHP installation. Can you
help?
I am running Nt4.00.1381 and have successfully installed the following:
- MySql 3.23
- Apache 2.043-win32
I have downloaded PHP 4.3.2-Win32 and have done the following
- placed the php.ini in the Winnt directory with the following changes:
- extension_dir = c:\php4\sapi
- doc_root = "C:\Program Files\Apache Groups\Apache2\htdocs"
- placed the php4ts.dll in the Winnt/system32 directory
I have also amended the httpd.conf file as follows:
- added LoadModule php4_module c:/php4/sapi/php4apache2.dll
- added AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
- added AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
- changed ServerName from p0486.henderson.com:80 to 127.0.0.1.
I restarted Apache2 and it started fine. I created a test php file
with
the
following code inside:
<? phpinfo() ?>
and saved it in the htdocs directory.
Started i.e. 5.5 and type http://localhost/info.php and got a "File
Download" prompt.
What do I need to do to get this to work?
Please help, I've being trying to sort this out for about 8 hours now.
Thanks.
Paul
