I'm trying to code a function that will fail over to a backup database using the mysql
predefined functions. Upon making a connection that doesn't exist, I would like the second
attempt to go to my backup database server. Unfortunately, my script halts with a warning when
mysql_connect doesn't get through the first time. How can I suppress the halting feature upon
getting this warning to continue interpreting my function?
Thanks in advance.
