what version of PHP?
what OS?
what do you mean start the binary?
can you paste some code?
my guess is you may already have it working. try this:
save this code to a file, replace the #! line with your path to the
directory holding the php binary(i.e. #!/usr/local/php), set permissions(if
using *nix for an OS) to 744 and run the script.
#!/path/to/php_binary
<?php
print "Hello, i'm the php CLI \n";
?>
