help please

OK I have a two boxes; They are both running Solaris 8 and it is been patched with the latest patchs.... installed the following packages from www.sunfreeware.com gcc 3.2.2, sed, make, bison, flex,binutils, m4, autoconf, automake, gzip, perl 5.8 and have load cpan.. Box one (1) web & dns server it is a SUN SPARC 10 with 2 cpus, and a two ethernet ports on it. Box two (2) also have mysql running on yet another ultraSPARC {web}-----[(1)NS1/WWW(2)]---{switch}---[(3)MySQL]

Here is the layout port 1 of ns1/www is a public ip address. port 2 of ns1/www is a 192.168.xxx.xx1 port 3 is on MySQL is a 192.168.xxx.xx3 port 4 is on a pc(PcAdmin) is a 192.168.xxx.xx5 This has been working well for perls DBD/DBI MySQL but how do you build for PHP??? It seems to want the DB & PHP on the same box.... how do I fix this Cris Harrison "Sex, Drugs & UNIX"
