Hi, I see that the configure parameter is --with-mysql=shared, ..... I think that means that mysql support is compiled as an extension. You might want to activate the extension=php_mysql.so line in php.ini and to restart the apache server.
ThomasMmm... "locate php_mysql.so" does not return anything on RedHat 9.0. "locate mysql.so" does bring up /usr/lib/php4/mysql.so and I do have the following in my /etc/php.d/mysql.ini: ; Enable mysql extension module extension=mysql.so So, is your php_mysql.so the same mysql.so? Anyhow, I tried extension=php_mysql.so even though I cannot find the file, and off course, it did not help. Sincerely, Hans Deragon -- Deragon Informatique inc.
