Hello, I am receiving an error when I try to run make on a system running a redhat version of linux. The configure command I have used to set this up is: ./configure --prefix=/usr --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --with-gd --enable-safe-mode --with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd --with-exec-dir=/usr/sbin --enable-magic-quotes --with-regex=system --with-ttf=/usr/lib/libttf.so --enable-track-vars --enable-xml --disable-debug --with-db3 --with-interbase=shared --with-pgsql=shared --with-ldap --with-imap --with-mcrypt --with-mhash The error looks like this: Making all in . make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/php' /bin/sh /usr/local/src/php/libtool --silent --mode=link gcc -I. -I/usr/local/sr c/php/ -I/usr/local/src/php -I/usr/local/src/php/main -I/usr/include/apache -I/u sr/local/src/php/Zend -I/usr/local/src/php -I/usr/include/imap -I/usr/interb ase/ include -I/usr/local/src/php/ext/mysql/libmysql -I/usr/local/src/php/ext/xml /exp at/xmltok -I/usr/local/src/php/ext/xml/expat/xmlparse -DEAPI=1 -DXML_BYTE_O RDER =12 -g -O2 -o libphp4.la -rpath /usr/local/src/php/libs -avoid-version stub. lo Zend/libZend.la sapi/apache/libsapi.la main/libmain.la ext/db/libdb.la ext/ dba/libdba.la ext/gd/libgd.la ext/imap/libimap.la ext/ldap/libldap.la ext/mcrypt /libmcrypt.la ext/mhash/libmhash.la ext/mysql/libmysql.la ext/pcre/libpcre.la ex t/posix/libposix.la ext/session/libsession.la ext/standard/libstandard.la ext/xm l/libxml.la -lgdbm -lpam -lc-client -ldl -lmhash -lmcrypt -lmcrypt -lldap - llbe r -lgd -l -lresolv -lm -ldl -lcrypt -lnsl -lresolv /usr/local/src/php/libtool: test: -lc: binary operator expected /usr/local/src/php/libtool: test: -lm: binary operator expected /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -l--library=resolv collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [libphp4.la] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/php' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 If anyone has any suggestions I sure would appreciate it.
