I am using FreeBSD 3.5-STABLE, and I run Stronghold 3.0 (Apache 1.3.14
base), and I have
mod_auth_mysql v2.20, and I have PHP4.0.3pl1 compiled in as DSO with MySQL
support. I have
been getting errors of:
MySQL: Unable to save result set
which I found in the FAQ on the main PHP website. It suggests to
add --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql option, which I did and it didn't work.
Then I get core
dumps when Apache tries to load, then the FAQ suggests to install mysql
without
pthreads and then build PHP off the library without pthreads, how do I do
this?
./configure --disable-pthreads (when configuring mysql?) if so how do I get
the libraries installed to a certain directory without needing to install
the
entire MySQL distribution?
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
