Hi,
I'm trying to install PHP 4 as a module of Apache (DSO module with apxs) on Solaris 2.6 (on Sparc). The problem I am having is with the libraries PHP attempts to install in /usr/local/lib.
The problem is that this machine has parts of its file system mounted from the network, and this sadly includes /usr/local/lib, an although I have the superuser username and password for this particular machine, I only have read permissions for the mounted network bits of my file system.
The real question is, which bit(s) of the code do I need to hack to make PHP look for these libraries in another place (say /usr/local/apache/lib or something)? Is there a configuration directive that I have missed that will do all this for me?
Thanks,
C.Davies
