PHP and GD compilation probs

Hello all, I am running into a problem with the compilation of PHP 4.0.3pl1 integrated with GD 1.8.3 on RedHat 6.1. I also have Jpeg-6b, Zlib 1.1.3 and libpng 1.0.8 installed. For whatever reason, when I configure with: --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local/jpeg-6b/ --with-gd=/usr/local/ --with-zlib=/usr/l ocal/lib/ --with-apache=/usr/local/apache_1.3.9/ --with-mysql=/usr/local/mys ql/ --enable-track-vars and then compile with "make", it tells me that gd.c: In function `php_if_imagecreatefromgif': gd.c:552: `gdImageCreateFromGif' undeclared (first use in this function) gd.c:552: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once gd.c:552: for each function it appears in.) gd.c: In function `php_if_imagegif' : gd.c:712: `gdImageGif' undeclared (first use in this function) make[3]: *** [gd.lo] Error1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/php-4.0.3pl1/ext/gd' ...
