The problem is that the MSCOMCTL.OCX is not registered on your machine (it
normally is on Windows boxes).
It provides controls which the installer uses to allow you to select which
nodes of the webserver to map onto php.
You have 2 options:
*******
1.
There should be a file called REGSVR32.EXE on your WinNT\System32 directory
and also a file called MSCOMCTL.OCX in the same directory.
If not, you will have to get them, maybe from your NT CD or perhaps by
downloading them from somewhere on the Microsoft site.
Once the files are there, from the command line type:
REGSVR32 MSCOMCTL.OCX
The installer should then work.
*******
2.
The installer has actually already done everything apart from setting up the
IIS script mappings.
You can go into the management console and configure the home directory for
your web server to map .php and whatever other extensions you want onto
wherever you installed php.exe
Good luck
