Hi everyone,
does anybody tried to compile PHP with the newest Roxen release ? Everything
appers to work fine, until you try to call exit() from within php. The instance
crashes, so the connection is reset.
This applies regardless to whether php is compiled with
--enable-roxen-zts or --with-pthread.
It appears that PHP is not shared safe and not thread safe to a certain
point. I spent days with trying to build a shared apache module with oci8
support, it simply doesn't work, the module is loaded and crashes the entire
httpd instance. So I tried to compile PHP with roxen and it does work fine
until you call exit().
Has anybody similar experiences or perhaps the same problem ?
Regards
Victor
