Hi, Yeah, I have just had this problem, and its not a problem that you might expect. I had this problem on Solaris 2.6 (you didn't say what platform you are using), and I only just found out today that this appears to be a result of poor compiler checking on behalf of PHP4. I'm now in the process of compiling gcc 2.95 (which takes ages), but I think if you get a later version of your C compiler then everything should work out OK. C.Davies C.Davies @ Nortel Networks. I hope someone can help me with this. I'm trying to build php as an Apache DSO module (via axps). Everything seems to compile okay, no warnings or errors, but when I try to start apache I get the following error message: Syntax error on line 224 of /web/apache/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /web/apache/libexec/libphp4.so into server: ld.so.1: /web/apache/bin/httpd: fatal: relocation error: file /web/apache/libexec/libphp4.so: symbol __muldi3: referenced symbol not found ./apachectl start: httpd could not be started Has anyone run into this problem before? Does anyone have a suggestion to fix it? Please, I'm running out of hair to tear out! Thanks and regards, Matt --
