I'm trying to build PHP 4.0.3pl1 as a dynamic module for Apache 1.3.14 on Solaris 7 using the Sun compiler (cc -V reports: WorkShop Compilers 5.0 98/12/15 C 5.0). My config.nice file is: #! /bin/sh # # Created by configure "./configure" \ "--prefix=/opt/php4" \ "--without-mysql" \ "--with-apxs=/opt/apache/bin/apxs" \ "$@" I have also attached my config.log file. The problem is that it fails when building main/reentrancy.c : /bin/sh /spare1/opt/local/src/php-4.0.3pl1/libtool --silent --mode=compile cc -I. -I/spare1/opt/local/src/php-4.0.3pl1/main -I/spare1/opt/local/src/php-4.0.3pl1 -I/spare1/opt/local/src/php-4.0.3pl1/main -I/opt/apache/include -I/spare1/opt/local/src/php-4.0.3pl1/Zend -I/spare1/opt/local/src/php-4.0.3pl1 -I/spare1/opt/local/src/php-4.0.3pl1/ext/xml/expat/xmltok -I/spare1/opt/local/src/php-4.0.3pl1/ext/xml/expat/xmlparse -I/spare1/opt/local/src/php-4.0.3pl1/TSRM -D_POSIX_PTHREAD_SEMANTICS -DXML_BYTE_ORDER=21 -g -c reentrancy.c "reentrancy.c", line 106: prototype mismatch: 2 args passed, 3 expected cc: acomp failed for reentrancy.c *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `reentrancy.lo' Current working directory /spare1/opt/local/src/php-4.0.3pl1/main *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all-recursive' Current working directory /spare1/opt/local/src/php-4.0.3pl1/main *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all-recursive' I'm puzzled because I built PHP 4.0.2 a few months ago and it ran flawlessly. Any ideas? Should I just stick with 4.0.2? Regards, Mario
