I have included the lines
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php .php3
AddType application/x-httpd-php3-source .phps
in the http.conf configuration files. However any file ending in .php,
.php3, php4, or php4 still gets prompted by the web browser for
downloading. The browser still assumes the page as
application/x-httpd-php3 rather than processing the page as an php file as
it does for .phtml.
one more tidbit. I used the php rpm that was at the following site.
http://fsr.ku.dk/people/troels/rpms/php/install-ready/
Is it possible that there is something wrong with this rpm?
Thanks,
Avram
