I am running on an SGI using Irix 6.5.10 + the newest SGI compilers. I have apache 1.3.14 + php 4.0.4 built. Both build & install cleanly, with php as a module. I used the php.ini as it was distributed. If I look at my server-info (http://phpdba/server-info ) I see what I think are all the necessary components to run php. Details are below. The server works fine, otherwise. If i go to http://phpdba/hello.txt I see: <html> <head> <title>Hello World</title> </head> <body> <?php echo "Hello World"; ?> </body> </html> but when I go to hello.php or hello.phps (identical content to hello.txt, just renamed) I get a pop up saying the document contained no data. Please see the administrator. There is also no trace in the logs of the hit using .php, or .phps so I cannot see what is going wrong. This also puzzles me. My one thought was that the loader may have trouble finding libexec/libphp.so so in my startup I have added the libexec directory to the loader search path: start) # set up library paths LD_LIBRARYN32_PATH=/usr/lib32:/usr/lib32/internal:/lib32:/opt/lib32:/usr/local/lib32:/tools/apache/libexec export LD_LIBRARYN32_PATH echo -n "Starting httpd: " $PATHTOSERVER/apachectl start echo ;; but that made no difference. Thanks for any insight you may have. Details from http://phpdba/server-info Server Version: Apache/1.3.14 (Unix) PHP/4.0.4 ...
